Grants and in-kind product donations to New Jersey and Pennsylvania K-8 individual educators and teams of educators in eligible locations for student art projects. The goal is to give students the opportunity to think creatively and experience the visual arts. Eligible applicants are located in Lehigh and Northampton counties in Pennsylvania and Phillipsburg/Warren County in New Jersey.

The Crayola Art In Education grant program is designed to support educators - who individually or as a team – integrate a student visual art project into a standard curriculum, allowing students to creatively express themselves and demonstrate their comprehension of the subject matter. The Crayola Art in Education Grant encourages creative innovation and excellence in classroom teaching. Funding is made available for specific programs rather than general operational support.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Crayola provides cash grants to schools and nonprofit organizations in Lehigh and Northampton counties in Pennsylvania and Phillipsburg/Warren County, New Jersey.

For educators and schools, Art In Education Grants are awarded to individual educators or teams of educators (K–8) working across subject/disciplines areas to infuse visual arts into the curriculum.

Additional consideration is given to schools and nonprofit organizations in which employees serve in a volunteer capacity

Notifications are made by the end of the calendar year.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Individual educators are eligible for a maximum grant of $250 cash and in-kind product match; a team of educators are eligible for a maximum grant of $500 cash and in-kind product match.

Term of Contract:

Projects addressed in the application should be executed and completed between January and June of the current academic year.
