PPL Foundation Focus Areas
Building a strong foundation is critical to the success of today’s students. Contributions in this area will support equitable and engaging high-quality educational opportunities for all students, with a particular emphasis on those in need. Programs supported through grants include, but are not limited to, early childhood education, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs, literacy, summer learning, and career and college preparatory programs.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion:
PPL Foundation seeks to support communities where all are respected, valued and free to reach their full potential in life. Toward that end, the Foundation seeks to fund programs aimed at confronting racism and discrimination, advancing social justice and equity, improving multi-cultural relations and supporting minority-led organizations leading change in the communities it serves.
A strong community is one in which all residents are empowered to fulfill their potential. Improving the lives and well-being of residents in central and eastern Pennsylvania by fostering the development of safe, strong and sustainable communities is a primary objective of the PPL Foundation. Funding priorities include support for emergency and disaster preparedness, environmental conservation initiatives and neighborhood improvement programs.
