Grants of up to $10,000 to Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations in eligible areas for programs that build leadership skills for youth. Preference is given to programs that primarily serve low-income youth of color, are led by youth, and are largely designed and implemented by young people. Eligible organizations, projects, and programs must be based in Philadelphia.
YOUTHadelphia is the Youth Advisory Committee of the Philadelphia Foundation’s Fund for Children. Established in 2004 as part of the Fund for Children, this youth in philanthropy program’s mission is to give Philadelphia teens opportunities to build youth leadership through philanthropy and the donation of time, energy and resources.
YOUTHadelphia grants support youth programs/projects with social and political themes and content in program/project curriculum; and help young people build skills/capacities to be decision-makers and action-oriented problem solvers.
