Request a Grant Writer

Grants of $200 to USA classroom teachers of grades three to six to create an educational herb garden. Funding is intended to ensure the continued use of herbs in elementary education teaching. The gardens may be indoor or outdoor. Funding may be used to purchase soil, plant trays, containers, and gardening tools that are appropriate for children. The school may need to seek additional funding and support from other sources.

Grants will be for $200.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Public and/or private 3rd through 6th grade teachers, with classes of a minimum of fifteen (15) students may apply for an herb garden grant.

The 2019 application period has opened. The application period ends October 1, 2019, and awards will be announced December 2, 2019.
