Grant Description

Grants of up to $2,000 to Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations, schools, and government agencies in eligible areas for programs that benefit local families. Funding is intended to support new projects or to expand and improve established programs. Priority will be given to activities and programs that support issues that are important to women and enhance the quality of life for families in McKean County.

Awards may be considered for new projects, or to enhance well-established programs. Priority will be given to projects that support issues that are important to women and enhance the quality of life for families in McKean County. Awards may also be considered for start-up funds.

Additional Eligibility Criteria

Awards are limited to tax-exempt organizations, including nonprofit organizations in good standing, as defined by the Internal Revenue Service Code Section 501(c)(3), schools, or municipalities.

Ineligible

Awards to individuals are not eligible. Capital campaigns or endowment funds are not typically considered for funding.

Pre-Application Information

The Application Deadline is September 22, 2023.

Organizations may apply for funding annually. Projects will be funded for one campaign only unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Matching funds may be required as well as challenge grants for additional funding.

Selected grant applications will be presented to the full membership at its annual meeting in the fall.

Estimated Size of Grant

Requests for award amounts up to $2,000 will be considered.
