Grants to Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to enhance the quality of life for residents in local communities. Eligible uses of funds include support for arts and culture; festivals and events; medical research in the fields of multiple sclerosis, HIV, LGBT issues, and domestic violence; and enhancing public spaces in the Borough of Milford. Eligible organizations are those serving residents in the greater Pike County area.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Organizations requesting support must have a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable status under the Internal Revenue Code. Consideration will be given to organizations that demonstrate active board leadership, comprehensive resource development plans which include income-generating activities, resource sharing, special support from individuals, and an efficient and effective administration of funds and programs.

Organizations may be sponsored by another not-for-profit organization with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable status under the Internal Revenue Code.

Geographic preference will be given to nonprofit organizations within the greater Pike community or to those providing programs and services to residents of the area.

Greater Pike Community Foundation does not grant to:
- Individuals
- Religious programs of churches or other sectarian organizations
- Political parties, campaigns, or candidates

The deadline for Richard L. Snyder Fund applications is 5PM, July 31, 2020.

Applicants should expect an email acknowledging receipt of their proposals within two business days of submission.
