The purpose of this program is to improve access to oral health care services for low income, uninsured, and underserved people with HIV and to support related education and training for the delivery of dental care to people with HIV. The DRP defrays a portion of unreimbursed dental care costs incurred by treating low income, uninsured, and underserved people with HIV at accredited dental or dental hygiene education programs recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
This program will reimburse certain costs incurred by eligible entities that have provided uncompensated or partially uncompensated oral health care to people with HIV from July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020.
